WACO High School’s ACT scores exceed the state average for the third straight year.
The class of 2018 averaged a composite score of 22.6, which is better than the state average of 21.8. The 16 students who took the ACT continued WACO’s strong scores by exceeding the state average in all four areas; which they have done every year beginning in 2016. In those three years WACO has averaged a composite score of 24.5 which is 2.6 points higher than what the state has averaged in that time. The class of 2018’s highest category was reading with a score of 22.9.
