The Highland boys’ basketball team takes to the road tonight, with the Huskies as the underdogs against seventh-ranked New London.

The Huskies are coming off a big week, outscoring opponents by 88 points to go 3-0.  Mason McFarland averaged over 18 points across that stretch, Trey Lasek averaged 12.6 points and nine assists per game, and Zack Lasek averaged a double-double across the three games with 16 points and just over 11 rebounds.

New London comes in unbeaten and ranked 7th in class 1A by the Associated Press.  The Tigers are beating their opponents by over 23 points per game throughout the season, so the Huskies will have their work cut out for them tonight.

Tonight’s game in New London is scheduled to tip off at 7:30.
