The Highland and Columbus basketball teams squared off in Riverside on Saturday, with both Husky teams taking the win.
The girls’ game was first, with the Huskies taking a 29-point victory, 59-30. It was all Highland from the start, with the Huskies outscoring the Wildcats 45-10 in the first half. The Wildcats would win the second half 20-14, but it wasn’t enough.
The boys were next, with the Huskies taking it by a 62-32 score. It was essentially second verse same as the first for the boys, with Highland outscoring Columbus 38-15 in the first half to set the tone for the night.
The wins move Highland to 14-7 and 10-6 for the girls and boys, respectively, while the Wildcat girls and boys move to 0-18 and 2-15, respectively.
