Welcome To Riverside
A set of public hearings will be held in Riverside regarding a 71 lot housing development. For the second time this year, the Riverside City Council will vote on a resolution to voluntarily annex Rotelin Yeggy Farms LLC. The 30.5 acres of land resides north of city limits between Tulip Avenue and Tupelo Boulevard. In January the resolution passed 3-2 before it was brought to the council’s attention that they had failed to notify the Township Trustees of their plans which voided all action taken on the development.
City Clerk Becky LaRoche says the set back shouldn’t affect the city’s goal to break ground in the spring. The public hearing regarding the annexation and rezoning of the land will be held during the March 4th City Council meeting.
