snowfall-projection

Mother Nature ran the gamut of winter weather in Washington this week. Slick conditions were experienced with ice and sleet, there was a dusting of snow, and very cold winds caused the National Weather Service to issue a Wind Chill Advisory Friday morning. In Washington, temperatures dropped down to the single digits and with winds gusting up to 29 miles per hour early Friday wind chill was at -29 degrees. In such cold conditions, frostbite can occur on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. More snow is in the forecast starting early Sunday morning and more is expected Monday night.
