The first legislative briefing of the session in Washington will be held Saturday. The briefing scheduled in January had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. Republican Representatives Jarad Klein and Joe Mitchell, along with Democratic Senators Kevin Kinney and Rich Taylor have been invited to the event. Each legislator will give opening remarks with an update on their work in Des Moines and then questions from the audience will be fielded. Constituents are welcome to attend the briefing which begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Washington County Courthouse. Another briefing is scheduled in Washington for March 16th.
