If you lost power early in the morning on January 30th, Washington County Emergency Management is asking you to complete a short survey. According to Alliant Energy, about 920 customers lost power in the overnight hours and most were in the western portion of Washington, West of Avenue D, South of 5th, and then into rural parts of West Chester and Brighton. Washington County Emergency Management Coordinator Marissa Reisen tells KCII News that the survey is to assist in the decision making process and weighing the risks of extreme cold and power outages.
