Nine Washington High School FFA students are advancing to districts. After competing in sub-district this week, those advancing to districts include: Sophie Bell, Gracie Greiner, Leah Marek, Leah Evans, Olivia Marek, Sydney Cuddeback, Taylor Brinning, Wyatt Stout, and Alex Guzman. Sophie Bell received a Gold rating in Agriculture Sales. Greiner received a Gold rating in public speaking, discussing the use of antibiotics in swine production. In the parliamentary procedure competition, Leah Marek, Evans, Olivia Marek, Cuddeback, and Brinning received a Gold rating. Stout received a Gold rating in individual welding, he then joined Guzman and received a Gold rating in the welding team event.

Hailey Shultz received a Gold rating and was selected as an alternate to advance to district in job interview. Ellie Bell also received a Gold rating and was chosen as the alternate for agriculture broadcasting. Hailey Trowbridge received a Gold, rating ninth out of 40 in the greenhand quiz competition. Guzman received a silver rating in individual welding. Kyleigh Dolan received a bronze rating in creed speaking.
