Three area fire departments extinguished a structure fire on Henry Washington Road Saturday afternoon. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 4:24 p.m. a garage with one vehicle inside was fully engulfed at 249 Henry Washington Road, northeast of Wayland. The fire was started by a wood burning stove in the garage. Washington, Wayland, and Crawfordsville Fire Departments responded and extinguished the flames. Crawfordsville QRS, Washington County Ambulance, and Washington County Sheriff’s personnel also responded to the scene. There were no injuries.
