ims-3

Iowa Mennonite School point guard Eli Ours avoided the dreaded sophomore slump during his second year in the program.

Ours finished in the top 10 in the Superconference in scoring, averaging better than 13 points per game while also compiling 74 assists, 40 steals and 63 rebounds. Perhaps his most important stat for this year’s team as floor general was one where he posted one of the smallest numbers in the state. Ours, the primary ball handler for IMS, finished with just 58 turnovers on the season, third fewest in the state. IMS finished with a 13-7 overall record.
