The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls track and field and cross country teams were honored at Friday night’s girls state basketball session during the Parade of Champions. 

The Parade of Champions is a tradition in which, members of each girls state championship team from the prior year are invited to take the floor at Wells Fargo Arena for a ceremony. The Golden Hawks won their first ever girls state track title in 2018 and in 2019, posted their second consecutive girls cross country state title, becoming the only program in school history to win back-to-back championships.
