The Washington girls’ basketball team was known for their height; the roster featured three players at 6’0 or taller, easily making them the tallest team in the conference. Those six-footers got their share of blocked shots, but there were plenty of other contributors.
Of the top 10 shot-blockers in the Southeast Conference, six of them are Demons. Addison Six was fourth, and from then until the ninth-place finisher Isabel Bailey, every single player on the list played for Washington. Six was fourth and Kira Ropp rounded out the top five. Phelan Hostetler, Halle Leyden and Olivia Pacha all finished in a tie for sixth with Bailey rounding it out. The six of them totaled a combined 40 blocks on the season.
