This season was nothing short of incredible for WACO junior Nik Coble.  The Iowa Print Sports Writers’ Association recognized that, giving him second-team all-state honors.

Coble was a menace across the board this season.  He led the Warriors in scoring with 17.9 points per game while shooting a ridiculous 59.4 percent from the field.  On top of that, he finished third in the state across all classes in rebounds with 310, which breaks the WACO season record.  He also broke WACO’s single-season blocks record with 80, a tie for seventh across all classes in the state.

Coble is only a junior this season, so the Warriors will have him, along with most of the rest of their core players, back for next year.
