The City of Washington’s Spring Cleanup has been scheduled. The citywide cleanup will be April 29th through May 2nd. All loose items must be put into a cardboard box and items should be sorted into distinct piles. Carpet and construction materials have a 100-pound limit per household. A $20 sticker is required for washers, dryers, refrigerators and other appliances. A $6 sticker is needed for furniture. Stickers can be purchased at City Hall. Hazardous materials, tires, waste oil, concrete, bricks, or rocks will not be collected.
