The Sigourney, Lone Tree and Keota girls track teams were at the Belle Plaine Invitational Tuesday.

The Savages finished third of eight schools in the class A division with their score of 93 points. Belle Plaine won their home meet with 123 points. The Savages had four titles on the night including Summer Barthelman in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:08.63 and the long jump, clearing 16 feet. Megan Stuhr won the discus with a throw of 109’1″, and the Sigourney shuttle hurdle team of Heidi Clarahan, Sloane Magill, Rylee Goldman and Barthelman also brought home gold in a time of 1:11.95.

Lone Tree won the championship in the Class B division with their overall score of 120 points. The Lady Lions won three event titles on the night with Holley Johnson beating the field in the 100 hurdles with a time of 17.72 seconds. The sprint medley team of Skyler Smith, Lexi Norris, Natalie Patterson and Johnson were winners in 2:08.99 and the distance medley team of Arlie Lorack, Josie Mulinnix, Norris and Patterson were winners in 5:06.06.

Keota was seventh of eight teams in the Class B division with 12 points. The Eagles were led by Paige Thompson with a third place finish in the 3000 and fourth place in the 1500. Jill Schulte posted matching sixth place finishes in the 100m and 100m hurdles.
