The Sigourney boys track team is ready for action again Thursday when they travel to Belle Plaine.

The Savages were last on the track Monday at the Ruritan Relays at Pekin where they finished as team runners-up with 78 points. Leaders at Pekin for Sigourney included Payton Schauf with the title in the discus with a throw of 137’11”. Schauf was also second in the shot put. Trent Hendricks was second in the 100, Mason Moore second in the 1600 and 3200, Gavin Sereg third in the 110 hurdles, Tristan Bell third in the 400 hurdles and Spencer Magill third in the high jump. Action begins at 4:30 and continues into the evening at Belle Plaine High School.
