The Riverside Fire Department was awarded a $1,000 grant from Alliant Energy for equipment. The Hometown Safety Grant is designed to go to local first responders to help cover the cost of life saving equipment. Earlier this month, Key Account Manager Nancy Snaadt presented the check to Toby Hancock of the Riverside Fire Department.
