A burglar who tried to elude law enforcement wrecked his motorcycle in Mount Pleasant. According to the Mount Pleasant Police Department, at 3:15 p.m. Monday law enforcement officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress. When authorities arrived they spotted 25-year-old Kyle Noble of Mount Pleasant trying to flea on a motorcycle. Noble crashed the motorcycle after trying to elude police. He was taken into custody and charged with third-degree burglary, eluding, driving without a driver’s license, and failure to maintain control. There were no injuries. Henry County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
