The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls track team wraps up a week of competition Friday when they travel to Tiffin for the Clear Creek Amana Classic.

The Hawks were  last on the track Tuesday at Williamsburg where they placed fourth of nine teams with 68 points. Mid-Prairie’s night was highlighted by Marie Hostetler winning the 800, Amber Swart second in the 200, a second for the sprint medley team, third for Tori Boyse in the discus and third for Mitzi Evans in the 800. Mid-Prairie will be joined tonight at CCA by BGM, Cedar Rapids Xavier, Center Point-Urbana, Durant, English Valleys, Independence, Iowa Valley, Mount Vernon, North Linn, Pekin, Solon, West Branch, West Liberty, Williamsburg and the Clippers. Action begins tonight at 4:30 at Clear Creek Amana High School.
