Two women were arrested after a fight in Mount Pleasant. According to the Mount Pleasant Police Department, just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday law enforcement responded to a call of a fight in the parking lot of a gas station near Walmart with a possible stabbing. Authorities arrested 28-year-old Gabriel Ware of Mount Pleasant for willful injury, and Chloe McCaran for disorderly conduct. The Iowa State Patrol and Henry County Sheriff’s Office also aided in the arrest. The case remains under investigation.
