The Mid-Prairie boys and girls soccer teams traveled to Monticello Monday and both came home with wins.

The Golden Hawk boys beat the Panthers by a 4-3 score. Mid-Prairie found themselves down by a 3-2 score at halftime but got the equalizer and the winner after intermission for the come-from-behind victory. Ashton VanWinkle scored all four goals for the Golden Hawks.

The Mid-Prairie girls handed Monticello a 6-1 loss. The Golden Hawks got goals from Libby Baker, Julia Boller, Evelyn Gerber, Kaitlin Martin and a pair from Caitlyn Riggan. Baker, Boller, and Martin each had an assist. With the win, the Mid-Prairie girls are now 1-1 on the season.
