Winfield-Mt. Union was well represented on the all-academic conference list for the 2018-2019 winter sports season, recently released by the Southeast Iowa Super Conference.

Receiving the award included Griffin Humphreys, Sully Scott, Dakota Silva, Carlee Sloan, Noah Sparrow, Konner Wade, Madie Anderson, Jenna Buffington, Ali Cockerham, Kayla Edwards, Jack Jennings, Brady Loyd, Molly Miller, Jack Moody, Farrah Nelson, Kyndal Townsley, Lexis Tran, Bryce Wade, Jami Wilkerson, Jared Arnold, Nathan Crow, Noah Freeman, Christian Gerot, Lauren Hagge, Johndree Harris, Anna Hudson, Robert Loveless, Duante Oepping, Juanito Piper, Nolan Ross, Bryant Holtkamp, Jarod Kadel, Sabrina Moody, and Liana Sweezer.

To receive the award a high school student must have competed in basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, or be a manager and have a 3.5 or above grade point average.
