Fireworks, the McKain’s River Access, and a personnel change request will be discussed by the Washington County Board of Supervisors. A fireworks permit will be considered for the Marion Avenue Baptist Church. The supervisors will consider an agreement with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for the development, care, and maintenance of the McKain’s River Access. The area along the Skunk River is state-owned property and is managed by the Washington County Conservation Board. A personnel change request for the Secondary Roads Department is also on the agenda. Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
