The Mid-Prairie boys golf team hosted their home 18-hole Golden Hawk Invitational Friday at the Kalona Golf Course.

The Golden Hawks were third of six teams with an overall score of 346. West Branch won the tournament with a 320. The Golden Hawks were led by meet medalist runner-up Noah Schlabaugh with his round of 79. Other scores for the Golden hawks included Monte Slabaugh 87, Dominic McCain 88, Kayden Reinier and Ryan Smit 94 and Chaz Patterson 97.

Highland was also at the tournament and finished sixth of six teams with an overall score of 577. Top finish for the Huskies came from Cael Yeggy at 124. Other scores for Highland included Jamison Kasparek 128, Jaden Schmid 163, Tom Rittenmeyer 167 and Tanner Forbes 178.
