A large storm system rolled across the Midwest Wednesday, leaving rain across Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. By noon Wednesday Washington had half an inch of rain. Flooding is continuing along the Mississippi River, and Rock and Iowa Rivers. Flood warnings are in effect until further notice for the Iowa River at Oakville with minor flooding, as well as the Mississippi River at Muscatine and Burlington. According to the National Weather Service, isolated thunderstorms are possible Saturday night in eastern Iowa, but severe weather is not expected. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
