The Mid-Prairie boys golf team has a shot to qualify for the state tournament Friday when they travel to Heritage Oaks in Wapello for the district meet.

Mid-Prairie advanced through sectionals with a third place finish and 357 team score at Stone Creek Golf Course in Williamsburg. The Hawks come in with a 349 average per 18 holes, seventh best in their district. West Branch has the best team average at 316 per 18 holes.  Individually Noah Schlabaugh for the Hawks is ninth with his 81 average per nine holes. Ted Bridges of West Branch has the best individual score at 77. Action continues all day Friday at Heritage Oaks in Wapello.
