A Washington man was arrested after trying to force a woman out of her vehicle Tuesday afternoon. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 1:07 p.m. two male subjects walked out of a store with a case of beer and left in a car. One of those men, 54-year-old Mark Allen Staley then attempted to get in a woman’s vehicle in the 1500 block of East Washington Street. Staley tried to force her out of it. Washington Police responded and arrested Staley for theft in the fifth degree and for car burglary. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
