Mid-Prairie standout golfer Abbi Patterson had a big week at the class 2A state tournament in Ames. Despite tough weather conditions, Patterson went lower than she ever had before, finishing day one with a personal best 85 in 14th place. She followed that with a 92 on day two, taking 19th place and setting a two day personal record by more than 20 shots to finish with a 177. Morgan Weber of Dike-New Hartford won the individual state title with her total score of 147. Patterson will be back next season for her senior year.
