The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk baseball team was beaten Friday at Solon by a 10-0 score in five innings. The Spartans jumped on top early with five runs in the bottom half of the first. They put the game away with two more in the fourth and a three spot in the fifth. Offensively Mid-Prairie had two total hits, one each from Brad Tornow and Aidan Rath. Keegan Gingerich took the loss on the mound, working one inning, allowing one hit, five runs and walking five. With the loss, the Golden Hawks are now 3-3 on the year and host Tipton for a conference doubleheader Monday night.
