Thanks to recently purchased equipment, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office will be more equipped to handle dangerous situations.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office purchased rifle-grade body armor and medical kits. The body armor includes a vest carrier and ballistic helmets that will keep officers protected in high risk situations. The new medical kits will help deputies apply medical care to themselves and others in need. Half of the $9,560.65 cost came from a Washington County Riverboat Foundation grant.
