Some things are worth the wait. That was the case for Iowa Mennonite School sophomore Eli Ours on Tuesday. After waiting two weeks to pick up where they left off in a game against Winfield-Mt. Union on the road, Ours, and IMS scored a 9-0 win after restarting in the third inning and Ours tossed a no-hitter against the Wolves. In his outing, he surrendered just two base runners, both on hit batsmen. The IMS offense broke out with a seven run fifth inning in which they sent 13 men to the plate. Blake Bontrager had the big swing of the night, cracking a bases clearing double with two down in the frame to score three. That was more offense than Ours would need as he sat down the last 11 men in a row and struck out seven. IMS is now 11-7 on the year, Winfield-Mt. Union falls to 1-22.
