A Winfield man hit a deer while on his motorcycle Thursday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 7:02 a.m. the wreck happened on Highway 218 near 320th Street. The operator was Michael Shelledy. Crawfordsville QRS, Crawfordsville Fire Department, Washington Rescue, Washington County Ambulance and Washington County Sheriff’s personnel responded to the scene. Shelledy refused transport from the ambulance.
