Iowa’s annual sales tax holiday is this week. There will be no sales tax this Friday and Saturday and all businesses open these days are required to participate. Clothing and footwear will not have sales taxes charged on items that are under $100. The sales tax holiday does not include Sunday. Items that are not included are jewelry, watches, and sporting equipment. The event is held the first weekend in August each year. For more information on what qualifies click here.
