A 22-win season meant plenty of postseason honors for the Washington baseball team, as nine Demons were selected to All-Conference teams in the Southeast Conference.
First team selections included Kole Hinrichsen as a pitcher, Brady Knutson as a catcher, Luke Turner in the infield, and Cade Hennigan in the outfield. Hinrichsen shined on the bump leading the league with a 0.81 ERA while striking out 73 batters to just 10 walks. Turner was third in the conference with a .406 batting average, Hennigan had the most runs scored on the team with 37, and Knutson had a .526 on-base percentage.
Brant Stout, Trevor Quigley, and Mitchell Driscoll were named to the second team. Stout was at the top of the order for most of the year and finished with a .310 batting average, Quigley broke out for a .363 BA, and Driscoll knocked in 14 runs.
Players being named honorable mention included Chase McDole and Ethan Patterson. McDole pitched in 31 2/3 innings and opponents had just a .155 BA against him while Patterson recorded a 1.50 ERA in his eighth grade year.
Knutson, Quigley, Turner, Hennigan, and McDole also received Academic All-Conference honors.
