For the first time in 23 years, Washington County Conservation is searching for a naturalist.

In July, Pamela Holz resigned from Washington County Conservation Board after educating youth on the natural beauty that’s special to Washington County for 23 years. Applications for the position are now being accepted. WCCB Director Zach Rozmus is optimistic about the search. Rozmus told KCII News, “I’m confident that our search for a new naturalist will receive a number of applicants, and I look forward to hiring an individual that will carry our environmental education program into the future.” Applications will be accepted until August 14th at 4:30 p.m. For more information on how to apply, visit here.
