A jury trial for a Keswick man accused of molesting a child he was babysitting is underway.
The trial that was postponed from April, opened Friday in Keokuk County. According to court records, 33-year-old William Mann was arrested in January and charged with second-degree sexual abuse following a January 26th incident. During his arraignment, a no contact order was issued between the man and the victim, who is under the age of 12. Mann pleaded not-guilty. Since his initial court appearance, Mann has changed legal representation twice, causing the trial to be postponed.
The trial is ongoing in Keokuk County.
