The Kalona City Council will discuss how to improve sidewalks at their meeting Monday.

Earlier this month, the council received a sidewalk study from Garden and Associates assessing the condition of each sidewalk and the potential areas where sidewalks could benefit Kalona residents. At a recent work session, council members discussed the possibility of hosting an open house to invite residents to give their thoughts on where they think sidewalk work would be most beneficial. The council will continue this discussion and possibly take action Monday. Also on the agenda is an update on the potential annexation of Shiloh Church and Marilyn Farms Property.

The meeting will start at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
