There’s still time to splash in the Washington public pool before summer comes to a close. The Washington Steele Family Aquatic Center in Sunset Park is open this week. The final day for people to dive in is Saturday.

On Sunday is the annual Doggie Paddle with PAWS and More. The Doggie Paddle lets your pooch swim in the pool from 1-4 p.m. Sunday. The event benefits PAWS and More and there is a $10 admission fee per dog, or two dogs for $15. Proof of rabies vaccination is required, and dogs must be spayed or neutered.
