Friday night the campus of Mid-Prairie High School was buzzing with the anticipation of a new school year and fall sports season. The Golden Hawks held their fall sports kickoff night including introduction of the cross country team and cheerleaders, and an intersquad scrimmage for the volleyball team in Tim Grady Gymnasium and the football team at Dwight G. Sattler Field. Football will have their annual player auction and scrimmage against Iowa City Regina Friday, August 23rd in Wellman.
