A bipartisan agriculture day is being held with state legislators in Sigourney on Monday. The 3rd Annual bipartisan Ag Day will include members of the Iowa House and Senate. The focus of this year’s event is new conservation technologies including terraces, waterways, tiling, and cover crops. State Senator Kevin Kinney says the event helps legislators learn more about precision farming and good conservation practices in Iowa. John Deere will provide hands-on demonstrations. And there will be discussion on recent legislation regarding cost sharing.

The event is 10 a.m. to noon at the Sinclair Tractor in Sigourney Monday and is sponsored by Sinclair Tractor and the Keokuk Farm Bureau. Lunch will be provided.
