The first look at the 2019 Washington football team is tonight when the Demons welcome Muscatine for a scrimmage.
The Demons will start up their journey back to the playoffs after missing out last year in a 6-3 campaign. Washington has dueled Muscatine in this scrimmage for a few years now and head coach James Harris told KCII Sports what he is hoping to get out of the night. “We need to do our basic things well and see if we can mix in a little wrinkles. I want us to do the little things right to start with in the scrimmage.”
The freshman team will start up the night at 5 p.m. with varsity set to scrimmage at 7 p.m. at Case Field.
