The first year of the Tae Kwon Do club in Washington will get started tomorrow with the first day of classes.

Sign up is still available for the classes that will be every Monday and Thursday from 4-5 p.m. at the Lincoln Elementary Gymnasium/Cafeteria taught by Mr. Tanner Wenger. Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art and Wenger told KCII Sports there are many benefits to trying it out. “It is a great stress relief, you get a good physical and mental workout, you become flexible, and can meet new people. It is a great way for students to connect and try something new.”

For interested high school students, forms can be found online at the Washington Community Schools website and for any questions email Mr. Wenger at twenger@washington.k12.ia.us.
