The Hillcrest Raven volleyball team is back on the court Thursday when they travel to Mediapolis to meet the Bullettes. The Ravens are still in search of their first win on the year, starting the season with an 0-8 mark. Last time out they were swept by Louisa-Muscatine Tuesday in Kalona. On the year the Ravens are led by Mia Graber with 30 kills, ninth most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. She also has the team lead and is fourth in the conference with 81 digs. Her status for tonight’s match and the rest of the season is in doubt due to a knee injury suffered in the Raven’s last match Tuesday. Yani Gutierrez has the team lead and is seventh in the conference with 49 assists.

Mediapolis comes into the match with an overall record of 1-0. Their only match so far a sweep of Highland on Tuesday. For the year the Bullettes are led by Helaina Hillyard with 10 kills. Olivia Moehle has 25 assists. Last year in this matchup MEPO got the win in four sets. Action begins tonight at 6:30 at Mediapolis High School.
