Mount Pleasant High School will be the destination for numerous KCII area cross country teams tonight for a 17-team meet.

Washington, Columbus Community, Lone Tree, WACO, and Winfield-Mt. Union will all be making the trip. WACO Head Coach Seth Pugh tells KCII Sports this meet is a good measuring stick for his team. “This is a good meet. I like seeing these bigger schools and seeing how they compete. It is a good course and is a little flatter than others we have seen. I know our runners are looking forward to it and I am too.”

The races begin at 4:30 p.m. tonight in Mount Pleasant.
