The Hillcrest Academy Raven cross country team was in action Tuesday at the Stormin’ Pointer Invitational. On the girls side of the event, the Ravens were seventh of seven teams with a score of 136 points. Marion won the meet with 53 points. Top finish for the Ravens came from Leah Bontrager in 10th place with a time of 23:35. Other finishers for the Ravens included Sarena Gerber 25th, Chloe Staley 46th, Taryn Leichty 54th, Julia Boller 59th and Ainsley Shaw 69th.

The Hillcrest boys did not post a team score. Collin Miller led the way with a 70th place finish in a time of 23:41. Other finishers included Owen Swartzendruber 74th, Jesse Slater 75th and Toby Chen 76th. The Ravens will run next at City High October 3rd.
