A man wanted for stealing a vehicle in Washington County was arrested in Iowa City Tuesday night. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 9:14 p.m. 26-year-old Michael Joseph Vogel of Coralville was arrested on the charge of theft in the second degree, a class D felony. The charges stem from an incident on July 1st when a vehicle was stolen in Kalona. The keys had been inside the vehicle. The vehicle was located in rural Johnson County later that day. He was taken to the Washington County Jail. Bond was set at $5,000 and a hold was placed as he’s also wanted out of Iowa County.
