
For the first time since 2014, the Keota volleyball team defeated their neighbor down highway 92 in Sigourney by sweeping the South Iowa Cedar League matchup.
The Eagles defended their home court winning 25-20, 25-22, and 25-20. Taylor Kindred and Addison Swanson led the offense with seven kills each and Macie McDonald recorded seven assists. Jaime Schulte had 11 digs and the team was 69 of 72 serving.
Keota improves to 2-10 on the season and gets back on the court tomorrow at HLV. Sigourney is now 4-13 and hosts BGM tomorrow.
