Even though weather derailed the schedule, nothing could stop the Mid-Prairie girls cross country team from capturing another meet title Tuesday in Williamsburg. The Golden Hawk girls got the win with 35 points, beating No. 2 ranked Williamsburg on their home course, who ended with 50. The Golden Hawks were led by individual champion Marie Hostetler and her time of 18:36. Other finishers included Mitzi Evans third, Abbagail Evans eighth, Ana Fleming 10th, Angelina Evans 13th, Jaden Yoder 24th and Sydney Yoder 26th.

The Golden Hawk boys were fifth with a score of 121 points. Tipton won the meet with 30 points. Top finish for the Hawks came from Chandler Hershberger in 13th with a time of 18:19. Other finishers for Mid-Prairie included Jamison Stutzman 15th, Nathan Wallington 20th, Carter Harmson 35th, Mose Yoder 38th, Levi Stultz 39th and Robert Nagy 42nd.
