The Hillcrest Academy volleyball team is back at home Thursday when they host area school Winfield-Mt. Union. Hillcrest comes into the match with an overall record of 0-19. Last time out they dropped four matches in pool play of the Southeast Iowa Superconference Tournament a week ago at Burlington Notre Dame. For the year the Ravens are led by Danae McGaffey with 35 kills on the season. Yani Gutierrez has team lead with 98 assists, eighth in the Superconference. Norah Yoder leads the Hillcrest defense with 66 digs.

Winfield-Mt. Union comes into the match with an overall record of 15-7. Last time out the Wolves won three of four matches at the Lone Tree site for the Superconference tournament. For the season the Wolves are led by Jenna Buffington with 156 kills, second most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Kayla Edwards has 279 assists, fourth most in the Superconference and Kyndal Townsley leads the Wolves defense and the Superconference with 218 digs. These teams met at the Wilton tournament earlier this season with the Wolves getting the sweep. Action begins tonight at 6:30 at Hillcrest Academy.
