The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team ran into a buzzsaw Thursday at West Liberty High School, dropping a River Valley Conference match to the No. 3 ranked Comets in straight sets. West Liberty took the match by scores of 25-9, 25-10 and 25-19. Tori Boyse led Mid-Prairie with four kills, Cassidy Hershberger had eight assists and six digs. The Golden Hawks are now 5-9 on the year.
